Chelsea Joy Handler, born 25 February 1975 in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. She was one of the youngest six children. Her father, a car dealer as well as her maternal grandmother. Her mother, who was a German immigrant to the United States since 1958, was born in Germany. Breast cancer was discovered in 1989. Handler started working for The Tonight Show as a correspondent. Handler's big break came in 2006, after she started hosting her own program on E! The show was called Chelsea Handler. The show ran for two seasons. Handler performed throughout the United States on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have both broadcast her stand up performance. In 2010 the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were announced. It made her the 2nd woman in the history of television, after Roseanne Barr, to host VMAs.
