Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . She is most well-known as the actress who appeared as Jane Seymour in the TV show The Tudors. Briem started her career as an actor at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. Her first stage performance was as a child in Iceland and was a part of the stage and on television. Briem became a child actor aged 16, when she moved to London. She participated in an adaptation of Lenin as part of Love by The New End Theater. Briem was 19, and was admitted to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied for three consecutive years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. The Cherry Garden (Anton Chekhov) as well as Bernarda Alba's house written by Federico Garcia Lorca were among the plays he took part in while at RADA. Briem was a graduate of RADA, continued to work in London theatre.
